Frequently asked questions
Are your ingredients fresh?
We purchase all of our locally-sourced ingredients on the same day that we cook, so your food is what we call "Super Fresh" and ready to be eaten.
Where are the meals prepared?
Cooking and prepping takes place at 365 Commissary Kitchen in Portland, OR. The kitchen is licensed through the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
Does the food arrive frozen? Can the meals be placed in the fridge?
Our food is always fresh and never frozen. Meals may be frozen if you'd like, but we suggest to eat them within the first week instead of freezing.
Can the meals be placed in the fridge?
Yes. Store the meals in cold temperature to maintain freshness.
How long do the meals last?
The meals will last 6 - 7 days after delivery if refrigerated. Please refrigerate immediately after delivery.
We always encourage our clients to heat up their food "pan stir fry style" so it preserves more nutrients and stays fresh. If you're at work and need to use a microwave, remove plastic lid and place veggies on top while protein and carbs heat up for 45 sec - 1 min.
What is the price of each meal?
The price per meal varies according to the meal plan you choose, varying from $9 - $10.50 per meal, plus a delivery fee at the end of each transaction. For specific prices, please see Choose A Plan.
If I order today, will I receive meals tomorrow?
All orders must be submitted through www.pdxmealprep.com before every Friday at 11:59 pm, to expect delivery Sunday morning 7:00 - 3:00 pm. Orders received on Saturday will be delivered Monday afternoon from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Anything ordered after those dates will be added to the following week.
How far do you deliver?
Our delivery ratio is 18 miles from downtown Portland, covering areas like Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Lake Oswego and parts of Vancouver. Deliveries are made Sunday morning from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. We don't knock on your door and wake you up -- we simply send a delivery confirmation text.
Can I pick up my meals another day?
If the delivery range is out of your area, please email us at email@example.com to coordinate a pick-up/drop off location.
I already have a custom meal plan, how can I place an order?
- Email your meal plan to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Name and phone number must be included
- Amount of total meals delivered per week
- We will reply your email within 24 hours and may call you if we have more questions
Is this a subscription/membership where I pay monthly or weekly?
